Actress and model Vikki Dougan earned her nickname “The Back” thanks to the dangerously low-back, curve-hugging dresses she wore in the 1950s and 1960s. Dougan’s alluring back has even inspired a song written by folk music legends The Limelighters whose lyrics passionately request that she “turn her back” on them.

Dougan would begin her modeling career at the age eleven in 1940. In 1948, nineteen-year-old Dougan (who had changed her name from Edith Tooker to “Vikki Stappers Dougan”) was named the winner of the New York Skate Queen competition. This success landed Dougan a spot in what sounds like the greatest fashion show of all time held by the Roller Skating Institute of America (RISA) which showcased the latest in roller rink fashions.
Dougan’s fame would take flight, and she would score roles in various films, photo spreads in prominent magazines such as LIFE (photographed by Ralph Crane) as well as posing for commercial advertisements for lingerie. Dougan also did a couple of mostly PG-13 spreads for Playboy and was romantically linked to some of the most famous men in Hollywood including Frank Sinatra.
Sergey Maslov shared a 3D project and NFT titled ‘The Shards of Triptych. Observable Universes’. The collection is a creative visualization of a real multiverse theory, which describes the probability of the existence of countless different universes with the same laws of gravity and physics, but with slight differences.
The project was created as part of the art film Triptych, where the theories and laws of astrophysics and quantum mechanics are revealed in artistic form.
The visual style is a conscious homage to the immortal paintings of René Magritte and Vincent van Gogh.

‘Triptych’ is a non-commercial short three-act film that reflects my attempt to visualize the laws and theories of the astrophysics in an art way. Also a few thoughts about the modern art are included in the narration:

Zdzisław Beksiński (24 February 1929 – 21 February 2005) was a Polish painter, photographer and sculptor specializing in the field of dystopian surrealism.
Beksiński made his paintings and drawings in what he called either a Baroque or a Gothic manner. His creations were made mainly in two periods. The first period of work is generally considered to contain expressionistic color, with a strong style of “utopian realism” and surreal architecture, like a doomsday scenario. The second period contained more abstract style, with the main features of formalism.
Beksiński was stabbed to death at his Warsaw apartment on February 2005, by a 19-year-old acquaintance from Wołomin, reportedly because he refused to lend the teenager money.
A Reddit user ran a Facebook emoji through a neural network trained on the Beksiński’s works, and the results exceeded all expectations!
