Icon 4x4 is a Californian builder known for their custom jeeps and trucks, they have now built the world?s coolest Wagoneer! Icon founder Jonathan Ward has released a plethora of amazing machines, but this is something special. This beast started life as a Kaiser Jeep Wagoneer from 1965 and has been given a complete ground-up restoration and redesign. The goal of this vehicle was to create the ultimate American family beach crusier, under the hood there is a powerful 6.2-liter GM-sourced E-ROD LS3 V8 engine which develops an impressive 420 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. It also has power steering, a fully custom Art Morrison chassis, Fox Racing coil-over shocks, Brembo brakes, and it drives like a refined late-model 4?4. Inside, custom upholstery was added, and all plastic parts were upgraded to genuine metal or leather components. watch video of the build below

“I’m Not Expecting You To Fully Understand Me”: The Intimate Artworks Of Tomona Matsukawa

Tomona Matsukawa was born in 1987 in Aichi, Japan, and graduated Tama Art University 2011 having specialized in oil painting. Matsukawa’s photographic paintings usually depict intimate belongings of women, particularly those close to her age.

Although her paintings are photorealistic, they are distorted reflections of reality as the malformations of the objects she paints are selectively exaggerated. Old red stilettos with grazed heels and salmon pink dresses silently sunk to the floor: the absence of its owners and its hackneyed state evoke emblematic struggles of women on both a personal and societal level in the 21st century.

Joel Meyerowitz – The Master Of Street Photography

Joel Meyerowitz (b. 1938) was born in New York City and began taking photographs in 1962. Although he has always seen himself as a street photographer in the tradition of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank (he is the co-author of the standard work on the genre, Bystander: A History of Street Photography, 1994) he transformed the mode with his pioneering use of color. As an early advocate of color photography (mid-60’s), Meyerowitz was instrumental in changing the attitude toward the use of color photography from one of resistance to nearly universal acceptance.

Meyerowitz was the only photographer to be given unimpeded access to Ground Zero in the wake of 9/11. The images he captured have formed the foundation of a major national archive, and an exhibition of selected images has travelled to more than 200 cities in 60 countries.
