Lost "City of the Monkey God" Discovered in Honduran Rainforest After a Thousand Years

Legendary lost cities are things you normally see in movies and storybooks, but one of them has been discovered in the Honduran rainforest. It's known as the "City of the Monkey God," and archaeologists have spent years tracking down the abandoned city's resting place. The most surprising thing is that the remains have been left seemingly untouched since it was last inhabited roughly a thousand years ago. A cache of stone sculptures was found at the base of a pyramid, suggesting that they may have been left as an offering. Continue reading for a video and more information.
