Sergei Pakhomov Creates Incredible Artworks Made out Of Pasta

Perm based Russian designer Sergei Pakhomov creates very original sculptures of macaroni – mill cars, helicopters, motorbikes, and other means of transport. Made from pasta, spaghetti, lasagna, and rigatoni, his sculptures attract attention of internet users.

Moreover, he has patented his idea. Meanwhile, it all started six years ago. By profession Sergey is a creative designer, developing various promotional products. To promote the macaroni factory “Krasnokamsk” he was invited to film the commercial about production of the factory. According to him, once, in the evening, an inspiration came to him. And, as they say, it all started. Although the advertising campaign did not take place, but the idea remained.

I regret to inform you that Sergei passed away at the age of 52 from the complications of a coronavirus infection on July 13, 2021.

In Elementary School, These Eerie Dioramas Would’ve Won You a Trip to The Child Psychiatrist

We tend to stereotype dioramas as two shoebox lids crudely rubber-cemented today, but these miniature scenes here transcend base macaroni art.

French sculptor Marc Giai-Miniet crafts tiny tableaus that are equal parts beautiful, industrial, and unnerving. If you look carefully, you can find scant signs of (doll) life, but these traces aren’t promising — imagine an abandoned underworld for sinful action figures.

Artist Bethany Bickley Creates Impressive Miniature Sculptures Out of Paper

Bethany Bickley is a creative problem solver who brings words and visuals together to tell a story with impact and purpose. “If there are no visuals, I create them”, she says in a statement. In her pieces, paper figures and objects are coming to life. Some of her works make us feel like we assist in a scene of a book’s secret life, where discussions are animated and life blossoming through the paper.
