Modern Logos in Chromatic Style by Martin Naumann

Designer Martin Naumann imagined what the logos of world-famous brands would look like in a futuristic-neon style. Martin Naumann is a multidisciplinary artist, and graphic designer, currently based in Dessau, Germany.

“Since 2015 I am creating designs and artworks for numerous clients and brands around the globe. When I started with graphic design, I worked mainly in the music industry, doing logos and album covers for various artists and labels. Currently, I am working on a wider spectrum of services, such as branding, packaging design, or custom illustrations.

My artistic style is often described as bold, colorful, and vibrant – abstract, but with a scientific approach. I create most of my work through generative and parametric design techniques, which means that chaos and randomness play a big role in my creative process. My goal is to create visual experiences, nobody has seen before,” he wrote.

“I’ve wanted to go to Japan ever since I was a child. Its culture, nature, and architecture – I always thought those were absolutely beautiful.

In 2018, I was finally able to fulfill my childhood dream and let myself get consumed by this marvelous country. I must admit when I stepped out of the Tokyo Train station I could not stop myself from tearing up because the desire that I have been holding for the past 20 years was finally within my grasp.

Dream World is a Street/Urban Photography series that acts as a personal journal during my stay. While I documented everything I saw and experienced, I used specific developing techniques with Color to represent the Emotional state I was fulfilling this Dream. The Dream World, the act of fulfilling my oldest desire and the magical experience that I will never forget.”

Strange Encounters in the Eerie Nighttime Photography of Briscoe Park

Creepy lights and shadowy figures haunt the night with a provocative otherworldly ambiance in these nighttime scenes by photographer Briscoe Park.

Our imaginations compulsively inject our fears into the voids and shadows of the world, an organic algorithm filling in the blank spaces with irrational data from the deepest reaches of our psyche. We’re both haunted and cursed by the inescapable inevitability that we need to, and will, fill the emptiness with something.

Even if it’s terrifying.

The work of Briscoe Park echoes these primordial subroutines from the collective unconscious through subtle, unsettling scenes of the dark, empty world. Sometimes it’s a foreboding figure watching from under the street light. Sometimes it‘s the uncanny luminescence emanating from the windows of a house whose warmth we are outside of – deprived of – reminding us that whether we’re staring out windows or looking in, we always seem to be on the outside.

Here is some recent work from Brisco Park which, intentional or not, strikes some very specific emotional cords during these unpredictable times of pandemic and social distancing which are filling our lives with countless new voids and shadows.

“Days of Thunder”: Atmospheric Cityscape Oil Paintings by Bozhena Fuchs

According to Bozhena: “I’m an artist currently living and working in Prague, Czech Republic. I graduated from Uzhhorod National University with a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Political Science.

I have always been an artist deep inside my soul. Trying many different styles, I realized that my top favorite are: oil painting and a palette knife. I create paintings with bold color and thick texture to evoke a sense of energy and life. Using intense powerful brushstrokes and a variety of palette knives, I sculpt the paint creating a thick texture that is not only visible but can be actually felt.

Goal of every piece of art is – to make it alive. It can be found only through creative search. Work and soul of the master adds a sparkle and makes it vivid. I like conceptual art if it is breathing and has a story to tell.

I am grateful for your interest in my art. Hope you will enjoy it.”

“Retric Dreams”: The Superb Synthwave Inspired Artworks in Dark Neon by Maximilian Auer

According to Maximilian: “This is my personal exploration in digital art. Heavily inspired by synthwwave & music in general, I aim to capture fleeting, somewhat dreamlike, nighttime moments, which could be just around the corner but still feel miles away.

Transporting emotions of nostalgia and longing for something distant and yet close, like a memory that comes back up to your mind, is at the core of what I try to achieve with every new artwork I create.

I am excited to take on new challenges and create unique, meaningful worlds & visuals. Let it be graphics, animations, shortfilms or music videos.”
